Travel Grants

Thanks to a number of the Summit's supporters, including the Aga Khan Development Network, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Ford Foundation, Global Greengrants Fund, Inter-American Foundation, Open Society Initiative for Europe and Rockefeller Brothers Fund, funds have been made available to widen and diversify participation to the Summit through a Travel Grants programme. Applications are now closed and recipients have been notified.

Travel Grants may cover flights, accommodation and visa costs, or a combination thereof. All participants have been asked to cover the registration fee.  Travel grants have been awarded as funds allowed based on: geographic and organizational diversity at the Summit; and, an applicant's commitment to the field of community philanthropy and plans to share learnings from the Summit. The Institute of International Education (IIE) is working with some successful applicants around their travel to the Summit.

Grantseeking is strictly forbidden at the Summit.
