Irungu Houghton

Kilimani Project Foundation (Kenya)

Irũngũ Houghton chairs the Kilimani Project Foundation, a community foundation in Nairobi, Kenya. The foundation is committed to building a community of choice for all who live, work and do business in Kilimani. 

Irũngũ works at the Society for International Development having recently completed a decade of service with Oxfam. Irũngũ is also widely known as an skillful change campaigner and inspirational facilitator.

He has been recognized with awards from Oxfam, New Partnership for Africa’s Development and the African Union. In 2013, he received the AU Award for a decade of service to women's rights. Follow him on twitter @irunguhoughton.
