Now we can say with certainty that this cooperation has enabled community foundations in Russia to develop in a wide variety of environments from big cities to the smallest settlements, building both upon international experience and best practice and Russian historic and cultural traditions.

Community foundations in Russia have been developing for just over 20 years, but they have already made a considerable contribution in development of philanthropy in the country. Russian community foundations are a model of local philanthropy of national importance."
